Asalamualaikum. I have two questions that I hoep you will be able to help me with one is since I live in a city where there is no hala meat at all, am I allowed to eat the meat that is not halal, meaning chiken, goat and sheep?

The second question is regardding my cousin, she lives in a city far away from her family where she is studying, she met a boy whom she likes and wants to get married as she doesnt want to have a realtionship before marriage. Her dad just passed away so her mum and grand mother are the ones who are left to decide for her. But they have rejected the boy marrying her, with no valid reason. Islamically is this allowed? According to the Islamic law what is she adviced to do?

Eat haraam food

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah Anaam verses 118-121:

118    So eat of (meats) on which Allah's Name has been pronounced (at the time of its slaughter),if ye have faith in His Signs.

119    Why should ye not eat of (meats) on which Allah's Name has been pronounced when He hath explained to you in detail what is forbidden to you except under compulsion of necessity?  But many do mislead (men) by their appetites unchecked by knowledge.  Thy Lord Knows best those who transgress.

120    Eschew all sin open or secret: those who earn sin will get due recompense for their earnings.

121    Eat not of (meats) on which Allah's Name has not been pronounced (at the time of its slaughter): that would be impiety.  But the Shayateen ever inspire their friends to contend with you; if ye were to obey them ye would indeed be pagans.

If perchance one happens to live or reside in a place where one has absolutely no access to lawfully slaughtered meat, one should contend themselves with consuming from the lawful vegetation kingdom, if indeed they fear Allah and the Last Day.

It would not be permissible for a believer who sincerely fears Allah and the Last Day to consume flesh of animals which are not duely slaughtered according to Shariah.

Your cousin is well within her rights to humbly, politely and with patience and wisdom convince her mother/guardians to give their consent to her choice in marriage; but if for any reason whatsoever she is unable to obtain the consent of her guardians, it would be akin to piety and righteousness in the Sight of Allah Subhanah that she abstain from marrying the person she has chosen, and seek to marry someone else whom both she and her guardians approve of.

Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "A woman may not give a woman in marriage, nor may she give herself in marriage, for the immoral woman is the one who gives herself in marriage."

If one trusts, obeys, and follows the guidance and commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws),   one can be assured of never ever being misled;   but if one believes, obeys and follows any other guidance, other than that of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of being led astray.
